With Luca Piovesan on accordion and Maarten Stragier on the guitar, Promenade Sauvage is an unusual duo with extraordinary sonic reach. Promenade Sauvage has performed at festivals and venues such as Berklee College of Music, Music@VillaRomana (Florence), Sound of Wander (Milan), Composit (Rieti), and Boston Guitarfest, Teatro Fondamente Nove (Venezia). In addition, Piovesan’s and Stragier’s individual performance experiences includes collaborations with Ensemble Intercontemporain, Ictus, Plus Minus, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, and Neue Vocalsolisten; and performances at Donaueschinger Musiktage, Lucerne Festival, Festival d’Automne, Tanglewood, Teatro la Fenice, Teatro Massimo, Tokyo Opera City Hall, and Bozar.
